WHAT IS YOGA IN SEASON? (YIS)

YOGA IN SEASON™ is the result of inspiration I received in 2019 to align Kundalini Yoga within the context of the seasons.

 

At the time it became very clear to me that life not only becomes more meaningful when we attune to nature's cycles, but that nature's cycles actually guide our spiritual evolution! I began to see that Kundalini Energy follows the same pattern as a plant's cyclic growth through the year which led me to discover new and deeper layers in our yoga practices. 

YOGA, NATURE AND AYURVEDA

Yoga In Season enriches our relationship to yoga through new understanding as we work with the dynamics of light cycles, elements, and Ayurveda.

 

Ayurveda is recognized by the World Health organization (WHO) as the official medicine of India. Yoga and Ayurveda originated and developed together in India thousands of years ago and repeatedly influenced each other throughout history. Both share an integrated vision of the human being, where the body, mind, and spirit function together as a whole.

 

According to this perspective, many state of imbalance can be avoided when we live in greater harmony with natural rhythms. Yoga In Season offers an effective way to maintain balance throughout the year.

CYCLES OF THE SOUL

Following the Yoga In Season protocol, we perfect ourselves by following the cycles of nature.

 

We come into relationship with the cycles of nature as we cleanse, renew and strengthen the body and mind. The seasons then cease be merely exterior and become opportunities to enjoy and experience personal growth, contemplation and transformation.

YIS is a contemplative approach to experience Kundalini Yoga that brings us into harmony with the natural rhythms of life. By working consciously with the energy of each season, we align and empower our yoga practice to access new depths and dimensions of health, balance, consciousness and inner harmony.

THE EXPERIENCE

I will guide you on a journey of inner development  that will help you move through any limitations, and strengthen your inner connection so that you can live aligned with your true essence and potential.

Each season of the year has a specific energetic quality which invites us to work specific aspects of our inner live through yoga, meditation, breath, sound and contemplation.

WHAT IS KUNDALINI YOGA?

Yoga means union, to unite, and we can do this in many ways.

 

Kundalini Yoga is the powerful yoga of consciousness that combines breathwork, movement, meditation and sound that optimizes and strengthens your nervous and muscular system, while promoting health in all the major organs of the body. 

 

It's a profoundly transformative practice that helps to reduce stress, increase vitality and incorporate feelings of peace, clarity and contentment. Kundalini Yoga  gives you the tools to understand your purpose and identity, and to live with more presence and purpose.
