‘As for us, we do not use simple words but sounds all filled with power.’

--Asklepios to King Amman, the Corpus Hermeticum

MANTRA is a powerful tool for mental focus and expansion of consciousness. Mantras are chants that help us establish connection with our true essence and elevate the soul. Each mantra is a unique sound vibration that resonates with specific frequencies, helping to restore inner balance and harmonize the environment around us. Each mantra is a sonic code that helps us calm and clear the mind and create new patterns and possibilities. Mantras have meaning but more important than the meaning is the sound which flows in different ways and in different directions affecting nerve centers and chakras (energy centers).

SACRED SONGS are celebrations of life in community. They honor existence, elevate the soul and nurture the heart with joy, devotion and presence. Singing these songs together creates a field of unity and grace.

Chanting and mantra is proven to put us in a good mood!

The hypothalamus is located right above the mouth. The chemistry of the hypothalamus regulates stress hormones and determines how you feel along with the amygdala. We can influence that equation with chanting and mantra.

Singing and chanting affects the hypothalamus by triggering the release of hormones like endorphins, dopamine and oxytocin, influencing the body's stress response. These hormonal changes are linked to a reduction in stress and an improvement of mood.

Through chanting together and singing mantra we can (create the inner chemistry to) literally FEEL BETTER. We can cut the circuit of feeling bad and overreacting to outside events.

Our community songs and Mantra:

Music is the universal language of the soul. Sharing music in groups connects us to each other in a profound way! I write music for our community that includes various mantras from the Kundalini and Naad Yoga traditions, as well as music from other spiritual traditions around the world. Find the songs HERE!

Below you'll find a special selection of mantras and sacred songs in our classes and events to (re)connect with your essence and the universal field of divine love and unity.

Welcome to our Sound Community!

All classes include mantra and sound: mantras, the gong, crystal bows and more.

One beautiful way to accompany song is with the frame drum.

🥁 In Rhythm! 🥁

The FRAME DRUM gives energy to mantra and song. It is a great tool on the spiritual path to express soul and creativity.

The drum brings us into a more natural and healthy rhythm within ourselves and our surroundings. Studies show that drumming has a positive effect on our immune system, relieves anxiety and stress, and is an effective balm for pain management.  Drum circles are shown to greatly increase feelings of well-being and happiness, and may even function as an anti-depressant!

The drum is a very powerful spiritual tool to connect us to nature and to the roots of the Sacred. Shamans and ancient Priestesses used the drum to travel to other dimensions and to expand consciousness. Drumming is returning as a sacred technology to reestablish rhythmic links with nature and to each other in a more profound way.

“The knower of the mystery of sound is the knower of the mystery of the whole universe.”

--Hazrat Inayat Khan

“Music is a higher revelation than all wisdom and philosophy.

Music is the electrical soil in which the spirit lives, thinks and invents.”

--Ludwig van Beethoven

See you soon!

Love,

Katrina 💚🎵
